Welcome to The Haymarket Hotel in Edinburgh where a city escape in the iconic Scottish capital awaits you. Our 3-star hotel is in the very heart of the city centre, only a stone's throw away from Haymarket Station, so you can visit us from near and afar with ease.

Located along a traditional cobbled street in the historic west end of Edinburgh, you’ll find us only a short walk away from all of the city centre delights, including the bustling Haymarket station which is only two minutes round the corner.

Each of our 70 bedrooms are spread over six grade two Victorian townhouses, built in the middle of the nineteenth century as part of Edinburgh’s vibrant new town. Whilst they were previously inhabited by wealthy merchants, businessmen and professionals, they’re now open to you – although we still welcome anyone visiting for business, of course!

We’ve lovingly restored these historic buildings, keeping the charm and character of the period with high moulded ceilings and elegant stained glass windows, whilst providing all the modern amenities you would expect to make your stay comfortable.
