Visit our hotel in Haymarket, Edinburgh! Situated down a traditional cobbled street, our six Victorian townhouses enjoy quiet surroundings whilst being only a two minute stone’s throw away from the lively Haymarket train station.

Edinburgh Airport is a quick tram or bus ride from the hotel, with the new city tram line stopping just an easy few minutes walk away, or pick up a taxi and you can be here in twenty minutes.

Enviably located in the west end of Edinburgh, The Haymarket Hotel is the perfect base to explore the rest of the city. Within ten minutes you can reach Princes Street, The Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Murrayfield Stadium (home to Scotland’s rugby team, as well as regular pop concerts), The Gallery of Modern Art and more, whilst the legendary Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile and the Old Town are all within a twenty minute walk.

You can also enjoy a wide selection of bars, restaurants and cafes within the local Haymarket area, including our very own Logan’s. There’s plenty of opportunities to experience traditional Scottish culture and pick up souvenirs at the superb range of neighbourhood shops. And of course, as The Haymarket Hotel is located so close to the city centre, you are spoilt for choice with an abundance of great restaurants in Edinburgh to try during your visit.

Getting Here

With so many nearby public transport options available, it’s easy to reach our hotel.

By Train

With our hotel being located so close to Haymarket train station, it’s not hard to reach us by train. There are regular trains throughout the UK travelling to Haymarket. Once you get there, it’s only a short two minute walk to our picturesque hotel.

By Air

There are regular tram lines and air link bus services travelling to Haymarket from Edinburgh Airport. Simply get off at the Haymarket train station stop and we’re only a short couple of minutes away.

By Bus

If you’re arriving internationally, you can reach us from the airport via the air link bus service in less than half an hour outside of rush hour.

Or if you’re travelling within the UK, Edinburgh’s main bus station is located a half hour walk away. From the bus station, you can also opt for a variety of buses in the centre or tramlines that will take you to our hotel in the Haymarket area, or you can opt for a short taxi ride.

By Car

Of course, you can reach our hotel by car with ease, as Edinburgh is connected to the M8. Unfortunately we do not have our own parking at the moment. However, there is chargeable on-street parking just outside the hotel or on neighbouring streets.
